The Bugaboo Donkey; faithfully working hard for you

Bugaboo, known as the ‘Cadillac of strollers’, recently unveiled their take on an exciting and innovative spin on what we know today as the classic double stroller. At Goore’s we assist our share of concerned parents researching what would be considered their best buy in regards to the double stroller choices that are out there for them at this time. These parents raise valid concerns of difficulties getting through doorways, the bulkiness of double strollers when packing it in the trunk, and the fact that the common single/double stroller lacks efficient storage space. The Bugaboo Donkey, ‘the first iconic convertible stroller’, will resolve all of the concerns we hear from these parents currently.

The Bugaboo Donkey enhances the experience of parents on the go who have one or two small children! Using the Bugaboo Donkey as a mono stroller, as Bugaboo calls it, provides extra storage space with a detachable side basket. This basket is easy to get to and has plenty of space for the likes of groceries, diaper bags, toys and other items parents need when their on the go. For those with two small children, converting to the duo is an easy task. Stretching out the frame and placing in the second seat is all it takes to convert this stroller to a duo. Use the bassinet or the stroller seat, facing forward or toward yourself as you stroll. Simplicity is exactly what parents are looking for.

Size matters a great deal in choosing the right stroller. As stated before, parents want a double stroller that fits through standard doorways and that are easy to use. As a duo stroller, the Bugaboo Donkey is the narrowest side-by-side luxury stroller, at 29 inches wide. This is great; parents can get around and glide through standard doorways with ease using the Bugaboo Donkey! As a single stroller, we’re looking at 23” wide at the wheel base; this is the width of the Bugaboo Cameleon.

Bugaboo Explains Further:

Now for what we’re all wondering… Read the media out there on the Bugaboo Donkey, there is one chief complaint! The name, why a donkey, of all animals? According to Bugaboo, “All Bugaboo strollers are named after animals like the Bugaboo Bee and Bugaboo Cameleon. The characteristics of a donkey perfectly reflect Bugaboo’s new stroller as it’s well known for its ability to carry both luggage and people with ease. They are also known for being faithful, intelligent and eager to learn.” We couldn’t agree more!

Look for this innovative double stroller, the Bugaboo Donkey, real soon. The Bugaboo Donkey will be available in spring 2011! Not too far away for some, too late for a few! What are your thoughts on the Bugaboo Donkey? Please share by commenting below.
