There is something so pleasing about German-made Haba toys. I love a simple toy that not only appeals to me and my aesthetic, but also grabs kids’ attention. From the sweet clutching toys, sized just right for babies, to the ingenious Stableware Tower—on sale now at goores.com—there’s always just enough of a surprise to make you smile.
The infant toys are one of my favorite gifts for a baby shower or a welcome gift for a new baby. They’re simple toys that you can see little ones interacting with right away, and many of them will engage babies just a few months old.
In addition to the wooden clutch toys—which she quite literally clutched and turned around in her hands to keep herself occupied for ages—my daughter loved the rustling foil rattles, like the Beetle Anton with his smiling face; as well as the Rattling Caterpillar, which features a stretchy body with different sized and colored links, as well as a ring that was great as a teether.
